No URL's for this week. Am in the middle of moving. If I don't send any
next week, it will be for the same reason. But, I will be back with them
soon.

Although I live in SA I am only 50km from Meringur and go there sometimes to research (in their quite good museum) the ROGERS family from that area. I have never heard of Denbigh Grange and it is not on my current (good) map.
If you like to send details to me, I will follow it up next time I go that way
Cheers

Hi Folks
There's a diary on eBay that may be of interest to someone. Screed as follows:
Original 1882 Diary of E Moore, detailing his life in England and his subsequent travels in Europe before embarking for Australia and New Zealand - where he "took over the branch" (possibly a bank) at Dunedin on 13 June. It includes several pasted clippings - an 1883 Calendar and some verse entitled "Poker", also a hand written recipe in the back. There are also numerous references to friends and business acquaintances
Hello Listers
I'm seeking your help with any information about LANNIN families, or any
of the associated names below, in NW Victoria or over the SA border.
(Other than information on the Registrar's Indexes)
Richard LANNIN & George LANNIN, both 'aged 18', both arrived in Victoria
in August 1858 aboard the ship 'Africa'. I don't know yet whether they
were related. Both settled in the Vic/SA border regions.
LANNINs known to marry MOSSOP, EDGAR, HARRIS, KENT, CONE, FOOTE,
KENNEWELL, BIRT, GIDDINGS, ROGER
Looking for Ellen Cotterill (nee Harmon) who contacted me regarding my link
to HOLMES in Ian Marr's Casterton cemetery website. Ellen's e-mail address
keeps bouncing.
Kind Regards,

Hello Friends,
Does anyone on the List live near Meringur? If so, could they please tell
me if a place called "Denbigh Grange" still exists?
The name has cropped up as a person's address for a family that I am
researching.
Kindest Regards ...... Corinne in Melbourne.
Hello
The National Archives of Australia instead of scanning my fathers service
records they scanned Jack McLeod from St Arnaud instead.
So instead of reading my fathers record Jack McLeod's 17 pages of his
service record have been scanned.
If a family member would like the pages email me and I will give you the
link.
Regards
Kathryn
Hi listers
Some of you may be able to assist Alan Wombwell who is probably not a
member of this list, with his query below.
Alan's email is at the bottom, you will need to contact him direct and
please send a copy of any reply to the list.
I have sent him a basic family structure of the generations he was
enquiring about as compiled from the BDM Indexes.
