1. New to List [1]
Hello, I am new to this list, and not entirely sure it covers the area I am after which is Horsham? If so I am researching some photo's and timelines and on the back of the snaps is G A McDonald, PHC or G?, 67 Firebrace Street, Horsham. Can anyone enlighten me on this shop/studio? When it was there, is it still there, how one would get in touch with a photo studio to obtain copies of photo's if at all possible. Diane

Hello Diane, I'm afraid a local will have to answer this question on a Horsham photographer. I can find no listing of any McDonald in Horsham pre 1940 (when all listings published, end.) Since you give no approximate date - (photos have been taken since about 1839, a mere 165 years) (!) - it is a big field. You don't say if it is sepia coloured (brown tones) mounted on card, a black & white studio pose or a backyard snap which might have been processed locally (in which case the person may be a lo
