I am continuing the indexing of VPRS 7933 /p1 "non-issued probate
applications" and the following are known (from file 163 to 340) to
have died in the western district, and their probate/admins were not
issued for various reasons.
As soon as I have listed these they will become available via the VPRO website

Hi All
Let's commemorate our loved ones or ancestors who gave their lives so that we could be free to follow all the wonderful pursuits that are available to us today.
As a heading mine would be: ANZAC DAY - Jim WILSON, Bill HAAR. We can take this through the week to the 29th.
Commemorating my cousin JAMES ALEXANDER THOMAS (Jimmy) WILSON, 4th Anti-tank Regiment Burma, POW, who fought for his freedom by escaping with 7 of his mates and paid the penalty with them by being executed at Tavoy June 6 1942.

is 2 km from Fromelles. He is in (V.C. Corner No. 21), maybe. The Red Cross

Would anyone know if the Portland (new)
Cemetery records are available for look ups, or do I
need to contact the Cemetery direct.
Will be in Portland on Friday and hope to get to the

Some months ago a friend of mine gave me the song by Terry Kelly "A Pittance of Time". The song I feel could be played at this time of the year ANZAC DAY.
Check out the web site where you can down load this song .
OTTAWA -Terry Kelly based his song, "A Pittance of Time," on a personal experience he had on Remembrance Day 1999.
