Golden Wedding
MR. AND MRS. PHILLIP CLARKE
A very unique function in the form of a golden wedding took place in the Bringalbert district on Saturday last, when Mr. and Mrs. CLARKE suitably celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding day, and the esteem and respect in which they are held was evidenced by the large number of relatives and friends who sat down to the sumptuous breakfast provided.
Mr HOARE outlined the career of Mr. and Mrs CLARKE for the preceeding 35 years, and it was on

Throughout our district things are looking well, plenty of feed for stock and crops growing nicely. Most of the farmers are near the end of their cropping now. A good percentage of lambs is expected. Foxes have commenced to do damage. A few more good seasons and all the bachelors will be tied up.
Our friend, John CREEK, has settled now. The happy couple arrived home the Thursday night after the wedding, and on the following Monday night Mr CREEK'

The residence of Mrs. WOOLMER was a scene of great animation on Thursday evening last when a number of the lady friends of Miss Ethel MEMBREY met to do her honour, as she is leaving the district shortly. Music, singing and games, were indulged in, and after supper Miss MEMBREY was presented with a handsome silver mounted oak tray, bearing her initials. A most enjoyable evening was concluded with dancing on the lawn.
