I have a John Albert Launer in my tree. He was born 30/12/1919. I dont
know where. I know he married on 22/4/1947 to Doris Unknown. I suspect he
lived at Netherby, near Nhill, Vic for most of his life. I have a letter
from him to my father, and I am trying to make sense of it.
Can anyone help?

Hi, I'd like to say many thanks to Daryl, Leigh and Cathy for looking up
those burials for me. I have since found a couple of related burials in
Geelong and will contact the Harrow Cemetery direct in relation to George
Thomas Farnham who died in 1924 as the family says he is buried there and
that maybe there isn't a headstone. Thanks again, you're a wonderful list!
Kind Regards

Hello Listers
Would some kind person be able to help me find the birth, parents & siblings of PATRICK KELLY who married MARY ANN RIBY. Also trying to find who Mary Ann's parents may have been.
Patrick & Mary Ann's son Andrew George Kelly married Sarah Dark. I have already found Andrew & Sarah's family and their descendants in the Glenthompson/Dunkeld area.
If anyone could do a search for me or has links to this family, I would be very grateful

A few years ago when I was working in PNG, someone wrote to me asking
me if I was related to the McMillan family that was from around Mt
Gambier. I was only starting my family history research at that
stage, and in ignorance, I said no - as I had not really considered
how close Mt Gambier is to the places around Hamilton where my family
settled. My McMillan family arrived in Portland from Mull on the New
Zealander in 1853 (Archibald McMillan and his wife Flora (nee

Hello Listers
I am searching for information on a JAMES HADDEN - his birth, parents & possible siblings. I believe the family settled somewhere near Hamilton, possibly links to Cavendish, Dunkeld or Glenthompson.
James married Ada Fry in 1901. I have found Ada's parents & siblings and also have already found have James and Ada's children.
If anyone could help with details of James or may have a link to this family I would be very grateful.

Hi Lynne,
Not sure about any connection to your Hadden's.
I only have Samuel's father David and nothing else.
I think there may be descendants of Samuel's living in Coleraine 3315.

Daryl

Hello Listers
I am wondering if some kind person may be able to do a look-up for me please.
I am trying to find information for Alfred & Alice/Alison Brown (nee Ormiston) and births of their children.
I believe they lived in the Warrenheip/Bungaree area to hope that's where they may be found.
I have a date of birth for their daughter, Julia Brown as 1876 and believe she was born at Warrenheip, Vic.
Also trying to find dates of death for Alfred and Alison to try to establish their parents.

Hello,
Hope everyone on the list is keeping well.
Could SKS please look up George Thomas FARNHAM on the SW Cemetery CD for me?
He died 27 Jun 1924 according to my grandmother however she was only 1 when
he died.
He lived at Harrow but I didn't see an entry for him on the SW Cemeteries
website so I'm now thinking he's buried somewhere else. I recently found
that his wife Eliza Grace died in Ballarat the following year and that she
was in the Hospital for the Insane at the time if her death in 192
