Judy I visited the cemetery for you this morning, and I'm sending two photos to you off list. If you don't get them today, I will be resending them from my work PC tomorrow. My dial up connection here at home doesn't like me sending photos! So either way, you'll be getting them in the next day at the most. 4. Re: [AUSTRALIA-CEMETERIES] plantagenent district in W.A. [1]
Hi Chirs, Yes he was buried at Mt Barker Cemetery 15 April 1936 according to the burial register. Not positive whether the dates given are date of burial or date of death but assume they are date of burial. Ethel Maud is also buried there 25 Jul 1922. Other Drage names listed at Mt Barker Cemetery are Alan John 16 Jan 1973 & Alice Janet 11 Jul 1978. Hope this helps. Sharon -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG. Hello, I am in no way attached to this cemetery in any official capacity, the photos used have been provided by myself to assist the Australian Cemeteries Website with some visual reference only. If you require any assistance researching your loved ones "within Victoria" please provide me with what information you have and I will see what I can do for you. Please be aware that my pending workload may get in the way of a quick reply back to you. Kindest Regards, Rod Beveridge gravehunter@optusnet.com

Hi Debbie and Raymond; I was at the DHS Cemeteries Unit today reading some old files and looked at the Boram Boram Cemetery File. It was a large one but I only read the early history of the cemetery. Data from it as follows: * Cemetery was called Boram Boram at Penshurst, but also noted it was called Penshurst at one one stage. *The cemetery of 8 acres was temporarily reserved by the Governor In Council on the 24th November, 1963 and Gazetted on the 1st December, 1863 [VGG 1863, Page: 2697]. * In t

Dear Listers In relation to the recent posts on the Rootsweb NQ List, I have decided to update the research I have undertaken on the Atherton Family that I have been researching for more than 13 years. I started the project off as the Society operated Greenmount Historic Homestead until it was taken over by the Mackay City Council in 2001. We are still responsible for the archives which hold thousands of photographs and personal correspondence between family members dating back to the mid 19th Century.

Hi Chirs, Just to add to what I just sent. I had a look at the death index for Alan John Drage who died 1973 & his parents names are given as Robert J & Phyllis E.M so certainly not a child of Joseph & Ethel but would assume there would have been some family connection such as perhaps grandchild or great grandchild. Alan's death registration is Williams District 7. Age is hard to read, either 15,16 or 18, the 1 is clear but second number blurred. Alice Janet Drage (whose surname could be her maiden
