My line runs from Thomas and Sarah to Anna (Peggy) who married James McGee, there son was Michael McGee who married Anna Malvina Simms. There son Burrell McGee married Sarah Hodges (Tintype Wedding Photo). There daughter America McGee was my G Grandmother (Tintype of America and Sarah Civil War era_)

By your description you are indeed descended from Thomas Ayer (1723?-1781)and Sarah Frances Malone Ayer (d. before 1795). That is the good news. The bad news is I am not sure where you fit. The eldest child of Thomas and Sarah was Ann Margaret Ayer (known as Ann Peggy), who was named after Sarah's mother Ann Peggy Dinkins. Ann Peggy married James Magee (also spelled Megee and McGee). She and James had a number of children. Ann Peggy actually died in childbirth on July 25, 1802, when she was almost 5

One of the Hodges men was a General in the Army of the USA during the indian wars with Andrew Jackson. Was that George Hodges. Burrell McGee and Sarah Hodges had a daughter America McGee died 1920. My GG Grandmother. She married first a Smith and had 5 kids, then a Bryson and had a daugher my Grandmother. I have photos of America McGee, Sarah Hodges, and Burrell Mcgee. A wedding picture of Burrell and Sarah in tin type.

I am a decendant of Thomas Ayer and Sarah Malone. Their daughter Anna aka Peggy Ayer married James McGee. They had a son Michael McGee who was a Revolutionary War soldier. Michael married Anna Malvina Simms, and there son was Burrell McGee who married Sarah Hodges (Daughter of John Hodges of Hodges, SC) There daughter was America McGee Bryson my Great Grand Mother. America gave this information to her daughter in 1907. Geneology researcher dispute some of this but I had an email from a decendant of

I believe this is my Ayer line. I have Thomas Ayer, Sarah Malone, Steed & McGee. I have pictures of my ggrandmother Mary Ann Cynthia McGee(b)1848 and her husband David Wheeler. I need verifycation on her father Peter, and also James. Actually I would like to have all you can give me.
