I am trying to find a link to a distant relative who's name, I believe, was Frances Malone. She would have lived in New Jersey, although I am not sure of the exact area.

Sarah Frances Malone was from Virginia, probably Brunswick County. She lived from about 1730 to around 1792. It does not sound like there is a match here. Her parents were George Malone and Ann Margaret Dinkins, both of Virginia. She does not appear to have used the name Sarah, but usually went b

No, I don't think anyone in our line was from New Jersey.
Sarah Frances Malone Ayer's father was George Malone, and they were from Virginia. Sarah was born abt. 1720 and that is all we know about her or her family.

As far as I know, she was from Virginia. We think she was thd daughter of Ann Peggy Dinkins and James Malone, but there are some things that point to her being the dau. of George Malone in VA. Thomas Ayer had land dealings with him. Does any of this sound familiar?

Can`t vouch for the acuracy of it, Dan Eyre may also have some data
concerning these folks.......... Thomas Ayer (1723-1781) and Sarah Frances
Malone Ayer, Their eldest child was Ann Margaret known as Ann Peggy, Named
