Hello all . . .
Sorry that my work schedule change was timed wrong time to catch this thread
sooner. Hopefully, you can appreciate suddenly having to work 10 days
straight not leaving much energy for anything else.

You have my thanks for *speaking up* when you did. Your explanation was
absolutely correct. All lists (and worse, the List Admins) have been
bombarded with SPAM since RootsWeb/Ancestry brought up the new Message Board

I just received copies of my great-grandparents and my
great-great grandparents marriage certificates. Both
are signed by the Justice of the Peace. Can I assume
the ceremony was a civil ceremony or was the
certificate just verified/registered by the Justice of

Any ideas?

Jewishjust a little curiosity and perception.
Unfortunately, I am only able to trace back to my
great-grandparents Candelario Chabarria (or
Echavarria) and Maria Silvas. According to the census
records they were born in Mexico in the early 1880s.

Grandmother's death certificate. Sally Parr Derrick Landrum isn't to be
found(so far).
While I was there, I heard a woman mention she found a birth
registration of a person supposedly adopted. I thought why not! and
looked for my mother and her sisters birth registration. And YES! It
