I live in Michigan. My general interest in Arizona genealogy stems from the fact that grandfather, Harry A Fox, lived in Phoenix between 1910 and 1916 as a young man (and later in the 1960s as a retiree). My specific interest in Pinal County history is the result of writing a biography of Pauline Cushman Fryer, a Civil War spy a and nineteenth-century actress, who lived in Casa Grande and Florence between 1879 and 1890.
