several months as prescription clerk, resigned the first of the week and is

Thos. Warford, who is fresh from a school of pharmacy in St. Louis, and who

presume he
will not be idle long, as he has been in the drug business for the past
twenty years or

Friday, 8 Sep 1916--A NARROW ESCAPE--Carl Davis, son-in-law of J. H. Bagby,
had a
very narrow escape from death Thursday evening of last week, while working
around a
hay baler on the farm of Jas. Baker of east of town. With Mr. Bagby and Mr.
Baker he
had been at work repairing the engine and was standing close to one of the
drive wheels
when the engine was started up on a test, and when it had attained its
maximum speed, a
key in the drive wheel shaft caught in the side pocket of a pair of new
overalls Mr.
Friday, 31 Dec 1915--DAVIS-BAGBY--Sunday afternoon at the home of the
officiating
minister, the Rev. C. N. Broadhurst of Moberly, was performed the ceremony
which
united Carl R. Davis of near Renick and Miss Nadine Bagby in marriage.
Following the ceremony the happy couple returned to the bride's home near
Higbee, where an elegant six o'clock dinner awaited them. The neighbors and
friends of
bride and groom were there to wish them joy and brought them many useful
presents.
The bride is the only child of

Judge
Underwood, of Vernon county, were married at Nevada Wednesday. The News

Owen Redick OBryan
Owen Redick OBryan, a well known and successful attorney of Mob-
erly and a veteran of the World War, is a native of Randolph county and
a member of one of the pioneer families of this section of Missouri. Mr.
OBryan was born in a one room log cabin, three miles southwest of Hunts-
ville, Mo., on the old OBryan homestead in Salt Spring township. He is
the son of James T. and Jennie Lee (Bagby) OBryan.
James T. OBryan was born in Chariton County, Mo. in 1860 and re-

Have been in Washington, D.C. for a week for volunteer stuff and fun and
research. Well, research falls under fun. Had a chance to visit the
wonderful library of the National Society of the Daughters of the American
Revolution. What a beautiful place with really friendly and helpful staff!
I obtained a copy of Mrs. Carolyn Frances Griffith Rohr's DAR membership
application for the Col. Dummer Sewall Chapter in Bath, Maine. She joined
under her lineage to William Bagby through his son Ruebe
My in laws checked several cemeteries around Huntsville for my father in
law's family.. They did find John Ward Bagby and his wife but were unable to
find their John Bagby and his wife Elizabeth Davidson Bagby. I do not have
the vaguest idea if these folk died or are still wandering around and just
not writing to the relatives..
Thanks to Sherri ...I have parents for this John Bagby. I assume there may
have been no grave markers or the markers have been ruined over the years.

1890.- 16 yr-1mon-22 days.
* note: Now all this means is you now have 2 dates. Nines & zeros are easy to
make a mistake on.

married Lewis Winston Yeager/Yager on Oct 23 1835 in Bibb Co., AL. She was
born July 5, 1818 (AL ?) and died 1856/59 in Fannin Co., TX. I have her
father as John A. Bagby, postmaster of Mara, Bibb Co., AL and her mother as
Margaret. Any information on this Bagby line would be greatly appreciated!!

line...his David Bagby married Lydia Foster after his 1st wife Clorinda
Bruce died...oh, rather I assume that the 1st wife died.
The David Bagby in my husband's line worked at a factory in
