Mr. JOHN LOUIS BAIRD, 83, of Artemus, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January
23, 2001 in the Knox County Hospital. He was a son of the late Matthew D.
and Bertha Douglas Baird born on December 29, 1917 at Artemus. Mr. Baird was
a retired produce worker from the A & P Warehouse in Louisville. He was a
member of the Big Brush Creek Baptist Church, a retired teamster, a member
of the VFW Dr. Thomas Walker Post, a Kentucky Colonel and a devoted father

I'm sure you all know Rae Davis-Smith. Would you keep her & her family in
your prayers? Her mother, who has been battling cancer for quite some time,
passed away Saturday, I believe. With rootsweb messed up the way it has been
last few days, I'm really not sure about the day..But that's when the
message was dated. Rae has been going through some tough times in the last
few months, as she watched her mother slowly getting worse each day. Please
say a prayer for her
