Arlene,
It's an AOL thing. It tends to add extra characters to the URL. It did
the same thing to me at first and I finally realized what had
happened. Try this link. Her page is there.

Hi there,
I've finally scanned all the pictures I have. They are mostly from
Koshkonong and Ava, Missouri. The family surnames are mainly Baker and
Hicks but there are also Maxey, Adams, Threlkeld, Brashear, Duffel, Moore,
Alexander, Phelps, Crabtree, and a lot of pictures I can't identify at all.

If you can identify some I haven't, please email me at

I went to check out your web page and Comcast said you haven't moved in yet,
created a web page, or the web address is different than the one you listed?
I have Bakers from Londonderry Twp, Bedford/Somerset County, PA that moved
to Columbiana County, Ohio and I was interested in seeing if any of yours
were from Richard Baker who had three wives?

Looking for info on John E. Baker and Mary. They had a son Frank (1836 in NY)
and he married Sarah Nash. Their children were Sarah 1858, Edward 1866 and
Flora 1859. Edward married Ella Smith, also of Middlebury. Ella's parents
were from the area also, William SMith and Julia Stone. Frank and Sarah are
buried in West Salisbury Cemetery. William and Julia are supposedly in
Prospect Cemetery. Edward and Ella ended up in Loveland, Colorado, which is
where they died.

Penny,
What happens with AOL links is that on the end of the URL, it continues
with some of the HTML characters. You'll find you have on the end
of the URL when you try to get the link. All I did was remove that
and the web page pops right in. AOL is the only one that has this
problem I think. They are aware of it but so far, haven't done anything to
correct it. It just gives everyone a lot of trouble when trying to get web
pages.
So, everyone, when you get a link on a AOL message
Looking to connect with Baker's from Middlebury Vermont. Frank Baker, born
in Plattsburg, New York to John E. and Mary. Frank married Sarah Nash. They
had Sarah 1858, Edward 1866 and Flora 1859. Edward married Ella Smith of
Middlebury. Ella's parent's are William and Julia Smith. Ella and Edward
had 2 daughters: Stella and Euella.
Donna,
It has been some time since I obtained the records, as well as before
Ancestry and company bought out Genealogy. Com. The transcribed books were
off of Gen Forum and a subscription service and are "Family Books" as are
the wills.
It is doubtful that they own the only copy, but didn't try to locate any of
the Baker books.

Is anyone on this list researching Robert Azburg Baker son of John Baker and
Nancy Smith? If so has anyone come across the reference in the Civil War
pension record that he was a Texas Ranger? I just found the pension of R.A.
Baker a few weeks ago and noticed on this record a hand written note by the
Judge handling the file that he was a Texas Ranger. There is also a hand
written note by Robert Baker, now that was really cool! If you haven't seen
his pension you should just for the hand written note. It is
