I'm trying to find out something about Rebecca A BALDWIN. She died in 1923 and is buried Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bowie. In the 1920 Maryland Census for PG County-Queen Anne District, she is living, as a housekeeper, with Gabriel CHANEY and his son Isaac & Isaac's wife Martha. Living next to them is Albert CHANEY and his wife Nettie and children Roy, Wesley, Dorothy and another daughter (can't read the name).
Does anyone have information on any of these folks?
Thanks, Sue
G'day Cobbers,
My g-g grandfather, William James BALDWIN, migrated to New Zealand in 1851,
two months before the 1851 British Census. The only official document that
provides any details on his parentage is his death certificate, which shows
his birth year as 1818, Grennage (=Greenwich), Kent, England, and his father
as James BALDWIN.
I'm not certain who the informant for his death certificate was and how
reliable the information supplied on the death certificate is.
I'm now forced to look at the 1841 Br
