Janey,
I have a Thomas Baldwin in my line that was born abt 1801 with a wife Mary that,
to this date, have not been able to locate but believe he may have ended up in
Missouri with the rest of his family. His parents were Moses and Mary Lambert
Baldwin who left KENTUCKY in the late 1820's or early 1830's and went to Indiana
for a time. Moses died and Mary went on with some of her children to Holt Co.
Missouri. Some of them stayed there and at least one son went to Fremont Co.
Iowa. Thomas is one of t

Does anyone have this line or any info to fill in the gaps.
Thanks

I have a marriage record for a
CHRISTIAN WEBSTER and THOMAS BALDWIN married in Maryland 7-23-1790.
I believe this to be my line of Baldwin who migrated from Maryland to Nelson
county KY.
But as there was no wife in the Thomas Baldwin house in the 1810 Nelson
county census, but with 9 maybe 10 children, it leads me to think that she
possibly died before 1810. I am searching for a record of death or burial
for Christian Baldwin between 1803 and 1810
Thanks for any help

Edward BALDWIN was a Captain in the Royal Irish Artillery, married Ellen
HARDACRE, who was born in 1799, Wigan, Lancashire, England. Her mother was
Matty Hardacre. They were married on 29 Sep 1817 in Wigan, Lancashire,
England. They had two children, Daniel (1820-1887) and Hannah (1819-).
Ellen died young, and Edward brought his children to Nenaugh, Co. Tipperary
Ireland, where he had been posted at or near Nenaugh. One of them, Daniel,
my gr grandfather moved to Ireland, married Catherine REILLY in Co
Bill,
Thank you for that information. I pretty well have that. The family of John and
Luvisa is my family - he is my 2 great grandfather. The only thing is that the first
three children in that family were not born in Iowa - they were born in Indiana. John
did not go to Iowa until after 1850. Again thanks!
