Janey, I have a Thomas Baldwin in my line that was born abt 1801 with a wife Mary that, to this date, have not been able to locate but believe he may have ended up in Missouri with the rest of his family. His parents were Moses and Mary Lambert Baldwin who left KENTUCKY in the late 1820's or early 1830's and went to Indiana for a time. Moses died and Mary went on with some of her children to Holt Co. Missouri. Some of them stayed there and at least one son went to Fremont Co. Iowa. Thomas is one of t

James Baldwin born unknown married Sarah Rawlings on 1-31-1774 in Anne Arundel county MD. They had 6 known children. James is the son of Edward Baldwin and Sarah Meeks. To CJ Nichols, I have a disconnected William E. Baldwin. He was born in Tn. in abt. 1825 and his father was born in Va., his mother in Tn. William names his first son John H. b. in 1858. I was interested in the John who was the oldest son of your Daniel and Anna. Was he born in Va before they came to Ky? Did he later move across the border into TN? I have a marriage record for a CHRISTIAN WEBSTER and THOMAS BALDWIN married in Maryland 7-23-1790. I believe this to be my line of Baldwin who migrated from Maryland to Nelson county KY. But as there was no wife in the Thomas Baldwin house in the 1810 Nelson county census, but with 9 maybe 10 children, it leads me to think that she possibly died before 1810. Bill, Thank you for that information. I pretty well have that. The family of John and Luvisa is my family - he is my 2 great grandfather. Daniel and Anna Baldwin arrived in Kentucky from Virginia apx 1790 and settled in Stamping Grounds, Kentucky.. Daniel's will was probated in Oct 1822 in Scott County and names his children: John, Moses, Deborah (Steward or Stewart), Joseph, Daniel, Thomas, Mary (Oxley or Axley), Elizabeth (Roley or Robey), and Jeremiah.
