Hello All,
I am looking for the parents of Johannes Barheit who was born about 1710. He
married a Maria about 1735. They had a so Johannes who married Annatje Van
Slyck about 1765, probably in Schenectady County. Annatje was the daughter
of Pieter Van Slyck and Angelina Erichson.
I am also looking for the parents of Johannes Robert Barheit who was born
about 1675. He married Catharina Gilbert on 27 Jul 1701 in the Albany DRC.
Johannes Robert later married Catalyna Dingman on 23 Mar 1718, also in t
Hi, G'grandfather was George Wesley Barhite (1850-1897, N. Salem, NY) who
married Frances Bates (Ridgefield, CT) in 1871. George's parents were Henry
(1826-1907) and Elizabeth (1828-1867) Barhite from Patterson, NY, and later
N.Salem, NY. Aaron (1801-1873) & Delilah Barhite (1800-1879) from Kent, Patterson &
N. Salem, NY, might be George's g'parents. Looking for any information on
Barhite's (various spellings) in Westchester & Putnam Counties, NY, & in
Ridgefield, CT. Thanks. Marg

Dear Lorine,
You mentioned that you were working on a book about the Barheits. Are you
nearing completion? I would be very interested in purchasing one when you
are finished.

I've recently discovered my Barhydt (various spellings) connection and am wondering if this is still an active list? I don't see any messages since 2005.
I also noticed mention of a Barheit Book and hope that is available now?
Shawn
I have received messages pertaining to this list. I think it is active, but don't know who is responsible for it.

I have quite a few Barheits on my website at
www.angelfire.com/ga4/myhayes_family/. I am also copying this message to
another Barheit researcher that I know.

Hello Shawn
I'm the list admin for the Barheit mailing list. It's a very quiet
list, not much activity unfortunately. I have a book on the family in
the works. All the research is done, it is a matter of putting it
together in the format of my New Netherland
