Hello everyone. Just wanted to let you know I've been up for the past 2
hours (since 12am) updating the homepage. The databases I got up were
for the Kern list (yes, I know it took me forever, and there is very
little info up on the Kern, even now, but better late than never!), but
there is also a new section at the bottom of the main index page for all
of you to read. It is a guideline of how to post messages to the list.
Not only is it for the list, but can be used for queries on message
boards
We are looking for a woman Barringer, early 1900's, who died in a stove fire
in her house with the kids surviving, somewhere around Mt Auburn area, from
north of Taylorville, IL., to Illiopolis,IL. One of the kids remembered they
tried to pour sugar on her cause she was on fire. The oil stove blew up while
she was lightening it. We think she was married to Elmer Barringer, who later
remarried his housekeeper and had another dozen kids. There are abt 16 kids
total mixed.
Any body recognize this?
Thanks
