Could the father of your William H. be a Joseph Bearinger/Barringer. Seems the Maryland family used Bearinger and the PA families used Barringer.

I guess I need to make this clear. I will NOT automatically take
whatever is posted to the list without permission. If you post
something to the list that I think the webpage would benefit from, I
WILL contact you privately and ask for permission. Basically, what I
was trying to get across in the original email is that if you want me
to go ahead and put your census info that you submitted on the
webpage, you should email to let me know the missing information, but
also, this is just good practice to use
Hello,
Do you have a George Barringer, Jr. b. about 1830 in your line? My
g,grandfather's brother George left PA after the Civil War and settled in
Licking Co., Ohio where he and his wife are buried. Have been looking for
his descendants.

Hi all! Just wanted to let everyone know of 2 terrific sites for IL
research, some may already know of these, but for others, this may be
completely new information:
Pape Funeral Home http://www.papefuneral.com
This site has TONS of death info for folks who died or are buried in
Vermilion County, IL, especially the town of Danville. I found info
on my HUPP/HUBB line here.
IL State Archives

Follow the link for "Genealogical Research" and from
Hey all! Just a note from your list manager :o) I have noticed a
lot of census info on the lists lately, which I'm very glad to see,
but some information is missing, such at county, township or page.
Just a tip for when you send census info to the list, please make
sure you include all information. Some of you have submitted census
data without this information. I'm in the process of putting this
data on the website for the list (please email if you do NOT want it
on the website), so for those who didn
