Hello everyone! I have seriously been working my butt off all weekend
on the rootsweb homepage. I have spent a total of about 20 hours on Sat.
and Sun working on it and now all day today (not counted in the 20
hours). I was going through the DAR lineage books on the ancestry
homepage (http://www.ancestry.com/ancestry/search.asp) and I got a great
idea for a new addition to the homepage...Military ancestors with the
surnames of my lists (below). Now, i have some info on Rev. war
Bradfords, but that

Hi Erin
I am looking for a Thomas A Barringer. He was looking for
the surname GUTGLICK/GUDGLICK/ GUTGLUECK / GUTGLUCK
and several other Spellings associated with this

This week's phrase is "uncommon common name" :) What this means is in
your line, if you have found any strange (or not so strange) names the
occur often, post it to the list. I don't necessarily mean names like
"John" or "William" (which is probably the most common male COVENTRY
name), but if there are maybe four out of 7 people in your line named
"Ezekiel" or "Jabez" (which is one in my Kendall line), then post those.
It IS ok if you want to post

I think most people on this list are Barringers, but a Beringer is more than
welcome here:) You may want to check out my rootsweb homepage as there is some
census info on Beringer surname along with Barringer, Baringer, and Berringer.

Hello lists. I have seen some of the posts so far on the "uncommon
common" names and I think some people have misunderstood what it is I
was trying to get people to post. I didn't mean for you to post your
most uncommon name, I was trying to get people (which most of you have
basically so far) to post uncommon names that reoccur in your lines.
Like the example I used with Jabez, which is not that common, the line
started out with Jabez, his son was also Jabez(2), and the grandson of
Jabez(2) was a
Seeking information on Mary Barringer, born in Penn. 1775-1785, married John Kesler March 21, 1798 in Rowan County, North Carolina. Does anyone know anything about her? She is my ggggrandmother.

I am trying to do Genealogy for my grandsons, Thanks for any help.
Hope I find some cousins.

You know Julie, I've been having the exact same problem myself and I'm
not sure what is going on, but I'm pretty sure if you were to unsub
once, you wouldn't get ANY mail. For the time being, i'd suggest to
just stay subbed and trash the 2nd copy and I will do my best to find
out what is going on. I'm pretty sure it's a bug in the rootsweb
system

Hi list. Just wanted to let everyone on these lists now that I have
changed the address that I recieve the list mail to
eabradfo@unity.ncsu.edu from this address. You can still write me here
and you'll probably get a quicker reply, but there is a small limit to
how much space for your email u can have at hotmail and I'm running out
of space quick and these lists are the lists that have the most
activity. Just remember my permanent address is kshai@geocities.com and
you can write there whenever as
First time listing. Looking for parents of SMITH BARRINGER, born in
Ontario, Canada 1840. His parents were WILLIAM BARRINGER and LUCINDA REESE
who were both born in the U.S. around 1810 but don't know where. SMITH
BARRINGER married LUCY HUYCK in 1863 in Ameliasburgh, Ontario, Canada. It
gets hazy after that , the family seemed to move back and forth between
Canada, Michigan and Wisconsin till they moved out to Washington State
around 1905 and have been here ever since. Any help would be appreciated.

Alright y'all. I have finally finished updating the 1790 census page
for the Barringer surname, including the Baringer, Berringer, and
Beringer spelling variations on my rootsweb page below. Also, I thought
I'd mention that several people have mentioned a Catharine who wasn't
related to the major lines of paul, John, and Mathias...There is a
Catharine in the 1790 PA census that you may want to take a look at,
maybe it's yours, i don't really know. Knock yourselves out with the
updates:) (by the w
