Hello, It has been a while since I tried to post my information. I am looking for the parents of George W Barringer b 1828 (West) Virginia. In the 1850 census he was living in Jefferson co. He was married in Frederick county Maryland 4 Nov 1848 to Mary F Shirley. They migrated to Ohio in the early 1860s. Thank you, Pam

I am posting to see if A. the Barringer list still exists; and , B. Am I still subscribed to it. The list has been so quiet. I am looking for information on a George Barringer (Bearinger) b. 1797, Bedford, PA, m. Mary Shallenberger b. 1793, PA. They are found on the 1850 Census under the surname Bearinger living in Cookstown(later called Fayette City), Fayette Co., PA. They are both buried at the Monongahela Cemetery, Mon.
