Hi all! This is just a reminder about an email I sent earlier about the new chat rooms that are online for anyone to come to (and not just AOL anymore!). Particularly, I'm sending an email about the different southern chats we have. There is a general Southern US genealogy chat that covers VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, TN, KY, MS, etc. (basically any state from VA on down). These chats occur a couple of times throughout the week. One is held on Monday afternoons from 2-3pm EST (1-2 CST, 12-1 MST, 11-12 PST)

Surgery was successful and they were able to remove 2 tumors, I have a follow up appointment this Friday and another the following Tuesday. Hi all. I just wanted to let everyone know that I recently received an email from a fellow genealogy researcher that had a virus attached to it (but I didn't open it). The attachment I received was called Resume1.wps.scr and when I scanned the attachment with Norton, if found the bugbear virus attached. I just wanted to send out a general warning/reminder about attachments in email, even if you know the person who sent it. In this day and age, it's very important to remember to scan an attachment before

hello all. this is to inform you that of right now, i am no lomnger able to function as listowner for my lists. i w3as admitted to the hospital last night for sseizures and am under going brain surgery probably on wednesday. i know that some of u have taken over the lists for me in the past and if anyone can volunteer, please reply in the next 12 hours so i can give u the passwords {they have changed as the lists have recently been attacked by would-be hackers).
