1. Re: My Beard Ancestors (Help appreciated) [1]
I have two Beard relatives in my database, but I don't believe either of them are connected. 1) Edith Beard born June 12, 1884, location unknown, died March 31, 1952 in Wisconsin. Married Edgar Jones, born 1893 in Wisconsin, died Jan. 21, 1958 in Wisconsin, buried Antigo, Langlade county, Wisconsin. They were married Aug. 30, 1924 in Crystal Falls, Michigan. 2) Matilda Beard (4th great grandmother) born about 1817 in Vermont, I believe Orange county, died Feb. 5, 1879 in Woodstock, McHenry Co., Illin

I am also a Beard descendant. My GG Grandmother was Sarah E. Beard. Her headstone in Oak Grove Cemetery - Clarkton, Dunklin County, Missouri says Sarah E. Pendergrass b. 3/29/1861 d. 8/3/1907. She married John T. Pendergrass about 1878. I have found her on two census records and both say she was born in Missouri, parents born in Tennessee. In 1880, she and John T. are in Clay County, Arkansas and her young sister, Eddie B. Beard, 6 years old, is living with them. In 1900 John and Sarah are living
3. Stonewall Jackson "Bud" BEARD [1]
Trying to locate family members of Bud B. BEARD, who was listed in Muskogee, OK on the 1920 census. They were listed as living on N. B Street. He was also known as Stonewall Jackson BEARD or "Bud-Eye" Beard. He was born in about 1878 in Texas. His parents were William and Amanda BEARD. The 1920 U.S. Census shows him married to Mary with children: Lewis, Gladys and William. Would like to get in touch with any relatives. Thanks for any assistance. Jackie Morgan

Just read your e-mail. I'm not sure whether your John Beard could be in my ancestery line, but would appreciate any information you have on any of the Beards. I am having a hard time getting past my G Grandfather, William Harrison Beard, b. 25 Dec. 1840, d. 18 June, 1909 in New Castle, Garfield Co. CO. My Grandfather's name was also John W. Beard and he was from MO. Christina WdrthJD@aol.com

I am a decendant of Ruth Beard of Nantucket, Ma. who married Judah Chase. She was his second wife. She had, I beleive, only one daughter, Maria Chase, who married Henry Fisher. I have no years available, but it would have been early 1800's, or maybe late 1700's. Would anyone have more info on that Beard family? Thank you. Kathleen

WHERE are all these Beards from? I have a small connection to a John Beard through my Sheldon line in York, PA, prior to 1800. I think he may have married Margaret Sheldon? Any of these from that area? thanks, Carolyn >>These are the Beards in my direct line, I have some of >>the siblings, >>and what not if you need them. >> >>Edward Dwaine Beard Grandfather 1939-1997 >>Benjamin Franklin Beard Great Grandfather 1906-1956 >>James Alexander Beard Great Great Grandfather >>1862-1947 >>Eli Beard GGG G

I'm also a Beard decendant. I'm not sure whether these people mentioned are any of my ancestors or not, but I save all information I can find on the "Beard" surname hoping to connect more of my ancestors. I've only gotten as far back as my G Grandfather, William Harrison Beard, b. 25, Dec. 1840, d.18 June, 1909 at New Castle, Garfield, Co. CO. He was born in Illinois. He was married to Mary Ann Elizabeth Smith, PA, b. 13 July, 1837. They were married in MO. Thanks for the information you sent
11. Sarah Ann Clark m. Charles Beard 1788 [1]
I have recently acquired a reproduction of the Baird and Beard Families book by Fermine Baird Catchings, and find within it (pp 200, 202) mention of Charles m. Sara Ann Clark 1788. Charles and Sara Ann are credited with one child, James Clark Beard b. 1803, with the comment that Charles may have had other children, on p 202. One probelem is, Sara Ann on p 200 is declared d. 1788, the year of their marriage. Which would certainly make birth to her of a son in 1803 unlikely. Does anyone have further data

Hello, I am also a BEARD descendant. I recognize the name Jacob BEARD on your list. I also have a Jacob b abt 1810 Maryland, who married Hester COX . I don't know if these 2 Jacob's are the same but I am interested in knowing more information, if you have it. If we can tie into them, I have information that I am happy to share with you on Jacob and Hester's children, etc. Thank you, Joyce ----- Original Message ----- From: "Benjemine Beard" To:

James Does your book make any mention of Moses Beard, Susan Simpson Beard, Settie or Lucettie Beard, Edgar or George Beard? My grandmothers' parents died when she was quite young, and I am trying to find their names. Moses & Susan were her grandparents. She was raised by Edgar & Orra Anna Beard. She was born in KY in 1886, as Mary Lela Beard, but went by name of Lela. Thank you for any help. R. M. Tucker ----- Original Message ----- From: "James D. Beard" To:
