I'm hoping someone can help me: I'm looking for information on the Bilow family. My great grandmother was 'Effie' Bilow born about 1880. Effie could be a middle name or nickname. Bilow could be an English version of Beaulieu, Boileau, etc.. Effie was said to have been of French descent. She married my great grandfather, Lancelot Neil Barkley of the German Barkley's of Dundas Co. Ontario, Canada about 1900. I have located French Bilow's in Dundas, but have yet to find any 'Effie'.
