2. [BIRD-L] Burned 1790 Virginia Census [1]
List members, This was sent to me by Bill Hunt. It is supposed to be a compilation of Birds in the 1788-1790 Personal Property Tax Lists for each county, compiled by Binns. It is meant to be a substitute tool of the burned 1790 Virginia Census. I sorted the Birds back by the County. Any comments or additions to this list would be extremely helpful. Which ones would most likely be the descendents of Col. William Byrd of Westover? I am not familiar with all the county changes. I am a descenden

5. [BIRD-L] Benjamin Freeman Bird Family Association [1]
Hi Listers: Someone once told me that there was an association for the descendants of Benjamin Freeman Bird of NJ>NY>UT. There are a lot of GEDCOMs etc. posted on the LDS site concerning his siblings and ancestors, but there are no sources. Does anyone know where this data comes from, or can anyone put me in touch with the association? I'm trying to trace the lines of two of his brothers, Charles Marsh Bird and Samuel Jacques Bird. Thanks, Judy
6. Unidentified subject! [1]
Hello all Birds, I am seeking an abstract of the will of Thomas Bird, "apothecary", who died in Braintree, Essex in 1662. Does anyone on BIRD-L have this particular will? It is listed in F.G. Emmison's "Wills at Chelmsford". Before I contacted the ERO, I thought it might be a good idea to check the Bird list first. Thanks in advance, Dr. Steven Bird Music Director and Conductor The Conway Symphony Orchestra _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: adva

8. [BIRD-L] Test only - delete upon receipt [1]
A few days ago my server suddenly refused to recognize my address, and started bouncing messages. As a result, I was "unsubscribed" from at least some of the boards I regularly visit. I assume that, if I get this back, I'm still "subscribed" to the responding board. Sorry to bother you all.
