From what I can glean my husband's father (divorced from his mother) lost contact with his sister Jackie (Harris) Black, for whatever reason we don't know. I am searching for information on the ancestors of Samuel Black. BLACK Samuel, born 8 July 1808, Washington Co. Pa. died 27 July 1865, Trenton Ia. buried Green Mound Cemetery. Married Mary Adamsom, 3 July 1831, Champaign Co. Oh. Mary, born 1831 in Pa. died 11 July 1887. Samuel served in the Civil War at the age of 54 in one of Iowa's Greybeard units.
