Steven,
Have you ever found anything as to any siblings of Nancy Anne? I am looking for a Thomas Marion Black b. 4/18/1858, family has always said he was born in Alabama but have never been able to find him.
Thomas Marion eventually migrated north and married my g-grandmother in Kentucky, then they floated downriver on a raft and eventually settled in Southeast Missouri.
Happy Holidays!

My great-grandfather, Joseph W. BLACK b. abt 1797 lived in New York in 1830.
I've narrowed it town to two places:
Groveland, Livingston County, New York
Smithfield, Madison County, New York
Since the ages are shown on the Livingston County census, I'm leaning towards
this county as the one he lived in during this time. The only reason I even
know that he lived in New York at all is because his son, Joseph Whitney
BLACK was born there in March of 1830. Joseph Whitney went by his mid
