7. ALEXANDER BLACK and GEORGE BLACK [0.983366]
Hi I think I have tried to get this information before but with all of the interest in the Alexander and James Black connections I am going to try again. My husbands grandfather was born in Hillsborough Co. FL. I know this because of business history, census, and some personal records. His name was George W. Black. He was born ca 1860. His father was born in Scotland, also information from census. This is what I know to be true. I strongly suspect that George W. Black's father was Alexander Black.

First off, let me say I don't have these addresses myself, but here is an excellent homepage for people who want to request vital records (birth/death/marriage/divorce) but don't know the address. Also, if you know the town, but not the county, there is a link for that, just enter the name of the town and state it's in and it will tell you the county (I tried it, it REALLY works!).
