13. [BLACK-L] Samuel Black, VA 1727-1782 [1]
Mary Lou, black@t-savvy.com I seem to have trouble hooking more than 2 generations of Blacks from Virginia together. The following query is based more on family tradition than on any documents I have been able to find. Samuel Black 1727-1782, married Rebecca Meeks abt 1742 in Augusta County,VA. Samuel was the son of John Black and Isabel Brown. Rebec

My husband is descended from his son Samuel, who was a Presbyterian minister. If anyone knows about the family of this James Black, I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Mary Lou
