I am seeking any information about Francis R. Black. He was born in Virginia in 1799 and is first documented in Woodford County Kentucky in 1826 marrying Nancy Thompson. He was Presbyterian, was literate, and had enough support to have 300 acres. Who were his parents and where was he born? His mother may have been a Cowan.
