Hello all..... I am new to the list. I am researching the BLACK surname. My interest in this surname stems from my grandfather, David H. BLACK who was born in Mendon, St. Joseph County, Michigan on February 26, 1863. He died in Belleville, Van Buren Township, Wayne County on July 12, 1931 from TB. David H. BLACK is the son of Sarah and Joseph Black b. approx. 1794. Sarah was 10 years younger than Joseph. This is where it gets difficult! And.... I could really use some advice. Here is the situation
