joke out of that one :)

>Hi,
I noticed you were researching both the HENSLEY and BEARD surnames. Are
the two families closely related in your line?
In my father's baby book it indicates that his ggrandmother's maiden
name was Mary Beard. I have since found evidence, including marriage
license, that her name was Mary Ann Hensley b.c. 1839, daughter of

Hello all.....
I am new to the list. I am researching the BLACK surname. My interest in
this surname stems from my grandfather, David H. BLACK who was born in Mendon,
St. Joseph County, Michigan on February 26, 1863. He died in Belleville, Van
Buren Township, Wayne County on July 12, 1931 from TB.
David H. BLACK is the son of Sarah and Joseph Black b. approx. 1794. Sarah
was 10 years younger than Joseph. This is where it gets difficult!
And.... I could really use some advice. Here is the situation
Looking for the descendents of William Perry Black b.1821 KY(probably Bath Co)
whose wife is named Mary(maiden name unknown) b.1830 in KY. They have two
children: Angeline Black born 1849 and John Black born 1850. They are in
the Buchanan Co, MO census for 1850. Would like to confirm that he is the
son of John W Black(1789-abt1870).
John W Black AKA John Winkleblack 1789 MOnroe Co, WV-abt 1870 Lane Co, OR
+Sarah Myers 1794 VA-1879 OR married 12/23/1812 Monroe Co, WV
Andrew W Black 1813 WV-aft 1880
Hi. I have completed all the lookups I received. If you emailed me before
and have not gotten a reply email me and I will find yours and send it
again. My email was a little funny the last two days. I can't take any new
lookup requests right now because of finals but after finals during the
holidays I should be able to do some more. I will let you all know. Happy
holidays. :)

WHY I'M THANKFUL TODAY
Being thankful for my wonderful wife, of 47 years, my six great kids
or my 22 grandkids, are not my most thankful thoughts of today.
Consciously and subconsciously I am forever thankful, every day, for
being so abundantly blessed by having them.
It is not for the relatively good health, my wife and I share, for that I
thank Medicare and the Social Security Act, as long as we still have
them!
Another thought of thankfulness, that doesn't need a certain day to
express, is for the mul
