Hi -- I am new to the list and am looking for information on John A. Black
and his descendants.
John A. BLACK married Rebecca Ann ADDY in Mills County, Iowa on December 1,
1872
We know they had at least one son -- William Harrison BLACK. William was
born in Mills County, IA on April 2, 1887 -- he married Sarah Jane YOUNG -
William died in Union County, IA July 15, 1934.
I am looking for any siblings of William Harrison BLACK, or any of their
descendants.

are listed as grandchildren from Rich... California in James Logan BLACK'S
probate record in 1905 from Page Co.IA. Does anyone know the parents of Anna,

I am interested in finding more out about Archibald Black 1740? - 1792
Cumberland County, North Carolina Father and brothers. From his will I
know he had a brother named Hugh. I think he might be related to Kenneth
Black but I have no proof. I know that Kenneth Black came from the Isle
of Jura supposible with his father Malcolm around 1740. If you have any
suggestion or sources I would be interested in hearing them.

I'm trying to Connect Daniel BLACK who lived in Lockport, Three Rivers,
Michigan in 1880 to my BLACK line.
Daniel was born in PA in abt. 1830. He married Margaret who was also born in
PA.
They had a daughter named Mary. Daniel was a Teamster. I can only track him
for a ten year period in Michigan.
Anyone know anything about this Daniel?

I am looking for information for my husbands direct line. His grandfather
was William Riley Black and grandmother was Bonnie Lee Gerteler (sp). I know
that Riley and Bonnie had 11 children and several grandchildren (2 of whom
they raised, my husband, Larry Wayne Black and Paula Gene Black). Any
information on this family would be of great assistance since I have been
unable to locate anything on Riley.

I am new to this list, so I will appreciate any help that can be given. I am
trying to trace the birthplace, parents, siblings, and ancestry of my
GGGrandfather Anson Alexander Black. According to the 1850 Miller Township,
Arkansas Census, he was born in 1813 in North Carolina, married to Harriet
Jenkins. According to Cocke County, TN, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church
minutes they joined in June of 1843.
