My 1st wife was a Blackman from around Kinston, NC. I have been able to find her father (Harvey Milton Blackman 11/11/1896 - 1/24/1961 from Bentonville, NC) and her grandfather (Richard Winslow Blackman d. 3/13/1923). Harvey married Katie Cylde Ennis on 12/2/1917 and they had 9 children.

Edgar A BLACKMAN (b.c. 1845) is listed in the 1880 US census with his wife Louise (M_____) and three children: Hiram 10, Daisy 8 and Pearl 5. He is an editor and publisher. I would like to know who his parents were and what Louise's maiden name was. Would appreciate hearing from anyone with knowledge of this family.

Nicholsville" likely edited by Mrs Carole Baker, talks of 3
stores in the city at one time. He talks of the current store being 1st
Sly's store. Striaght east from Bethel-New Richmond Rd was the store
of Fee,Nichols,and Wesley and Mary Blackman McClain. East a block,on
the road to Bethel,in 1891,was Ralls store.

In particular, Anthony BLACKMAN (B c1676 Battle) who married Elizabeth
REEVE (B c1678 Battle) on 15May1701, Mountfield.
They had a daughter Elizabeth who married Richard VADLER, on 09Apr1722
also at Battle.
I'm also looking for descendants of George F.T. BLACKMAN who married
Jessie Clementine STEWART 18Dec1918 in Lismore, Australia.
