Unfortunately we have conflicting information as well. The date we go with is 30-Jan-1733 at Amesbury, Essex, MA. But we note 1731 and 1732 as well. We list a marriage date of 17-May-1753. SOURCE: Amesbury marriages p 289 sent by Joan Blaisdell, Lynn, MA. Sarah was born in Amesbury, so you might want to research the Vital Stats of Amesbury for those years. ========================================== Phlip R. Greetings, I am a new subscriber to this list. I am currently researching a line of the Blaisdell family who lived in Plymouth County, Massachusetts from the 1800s to present day, but descended from a William Blaisdell of New Hampshire (b. 20 Jul 1808, unknown city and unknown parents so far). I look forward to corresponding with other Blaisdell descendants and researchers. Margo Dunn Washington, D.C. area

Hi Margo, Not sure if this is a hit or not. We have a "Wandel Blaisdel" b. 20-Jul-1808, mar. Nancy SHAW on 25-Jan-1835 in Abington, MA [sic], and was buried in Abington, MA. One of the notes we have says, "CONFLICT - Name William." If this is your William, we have at least 7 generations of his ancestors. 10. Re: [BLAISDELL] BLAISDELL Digest, Vol 2, Issue 2 [1]
Philip, I believe this is the same William, who I found married to Nancy Shaw (William [int. Blaisdel] and Nancy Shaw, Jan. 25, 1835) in "Mass. Vital Records to 1850" and followed through census and city directories. I have his death as 10 October 1899 in Rockland, MA. I have William and Nancy with 4 children: Ann Eliza (died young), William Henry (died young), William Henry (lineage I am tracing), and Wendell. I am investigating a theory that Moses Blaisdell, who lived in the same area at the same time an
