5. [BOARD-L] Re: GenTech 2001 conference [1]
I haven't heard anything about this either. It makes sense that the Board would have been informed about plans to hold a national USGW meeting, but that is not the case. Makes me wonder just what constitutes a "national USGW" meeting, since nobody seems to know about it. 8. [BOARD-L] Motion 00-39 Service Mark Application [1]
Motion made by Ken Short, seconded by Maggie, is numbered 00-39: "I move that the Service Mark "USGenWeb" be applied for." How to implement the motion can be decided at a later time as every decision that goes into such an application need not be written into the motion to do an application. As this motion has been discussed for several weeks, voting will commence on this motion immediately, unless someone has a strong objection on doing so. Please vote accordingly. Thanks, Tim

On Saturday we will have two laptops hooked up to regular monitors. One will have a looping USGenWeb project presentation and the other will be used for the online stuff. 13. Re: [BOARD-L] Re: GenTech 2001 conference [1]
So far anyway, it appears to have been meant more as a get-together meeting rather than a *meeting* meeting... certainly I think we can simply make the most of this and turn it into a real get-together for all who can manage to be there.... emphasizing a *meet your fellow volunteers* et cetera type get together where we can discuss common issues --- relationships with alternative and specialized projects --- coping with frame linkers like familydiscovery.com --- web site structure --- these are just a
