Can someone help me please?
My great grandmother is Emma Bradford in Missouri. She married James Monroe
Son, MD. Now I would like to know who her parents are. I found this on
familysearch. I have seen it before. Now this is my problem.
Check out the death date of William and the birth date of Emma. Was
Elizabeth McGinnis having children after her husband died? :o) Could be,
but I think, that maybe, hopefully, one of these dates is wrong.
Here it is:

Hello all genealogical researchers:
I do hope you'll forgive me a bit of "spam" but this *is* highly
relevant to the purpose of this list. The following clip from the
weekly RootsWeb newsletter tells of the significant amount of work being
done on behalf of us genealogical researchers:

I'm in Dallas this week looking for Bradfords from Alabama in the late 1800s
and early 1900s. James Bradford and family from Limestone Co, AL were in
Wise Co, TX in 1880. David Alexander Bradford and his family were in Tarrant
Co, TX by 1920. So far I've not had any luck finding descendants of either
of these families. James was the uncle of David Alexander. Please contact
me, if you know anything about either of these Bradfords. I'm leaving here
next Tuesday.

The Bradford section of the webpage has been updated. I spent 5 hours
last night working on it! a page on Bradford immigrants after 1700 and
also a page of books, some available for purchase through amazon
(remember, the money goes to rootsweb), on or by Bradfords has been
added. Also some of the books are on the history of where Bradford's
have lived (Plymouth, Granville/Orange/Cabarrus Cos., NC, and PA for
starters.) If you can add to the list, just email me. I figure if

This week's word is "Peter" :) What this means is in your line, if
you have found any ancestors (or maybe not your ancestors, but with the
surname of the list) named Peter, post it to the list.
FOR NEWBIES: The way the "word of the week" works is I throw out a
topic and if someone has a line that falls into that topic, then they
are *supposed* to post it, but not everyone really does. For instance,
this week, if you have any info on the surname
