Am reading a great book, probably out of print, but libraries should have. I
bought it last week in a used book store. . . "The Mayflower" . . . by Kate
Caffrey, publ 1975 Stein & Day, NY. It is wonderful. Much more than the

I have a Henry Bradford, born about 1824 and married Angeline Shelton
August 1, 1846. Could Purnell be his father? I haven't done much with
genealogy lately, but would be very interested in knowing where your
information comes from -- is it documented? My Henry was born in Ohio
(probably Adams county) and also lived for a time in Lewis County Kentucky
(Mason is the neighboring county to Lewis). He is buried in Adams County,

Hi. I'm new to this list and would like to post my research interest in the
hopes that someone may have some information. I am looking for any and all
information on my great-grandmother, Jane Bradford, who married Charles Green
and was living in or around Cleveland, Ohio in 1876, when her daughter Ida
Mignonette (Minnie) Green was born. Her other children, as I recorded them from
Mother, are: Ned, George, Everett, Gertrude (Gladys?), Walter, and Florence. Any

I am a direct descendent of Thomas Jefferson Bradford ( A Tennessee lawyer
and Civil War soldier). I have all the descendents of his son, Reuben P.
Bradford. Reuben's mother was Madora Hayes ( b. 6/7/1846 in Franklin, TN,
d. 7/15/1888.
According to my records Thomas Jefferson Bradford was born 3/19/1836 in
Alexandria, Decalb Co, TN and died 3/16/1902 (one record says 7/

I am researching Robert and Margaret Bradfod who settled in Greene County,
