lived in Camden District, Lancaster County SC in 1790. He had 7 sons, one
of whom was Robert. Robert was married to Elizabeth Barr. I would

Not sure exactly what info you're looking for, but here is some information on
Gov. John Branch:
"grad of UNC in 1801 and trustee of UNC 27 years...after leaving school in
Chapel Hill, NC, he married Elizabeth Fort/Foort, called "an heiress" in some
sources....they moved to Enfield, NC....the politician ....State Senate 6
terms..Speaker of Senate 3 terms...2 terms as Governor of NC
1817-1819...elected to State Senate again 1822...elected 2 terms to U.S.
Senate...resigned from Senate to become Secy. Of Navy
I am descendant of this line. A Rebecca (some accounts say middle name was
Bartlett, but I have not confirmed this) Bradford (b. 12/26/1752) married John
Branch (1750-3/14/1806). Rebecca's parents were John Bradford (1708-10/31/1787)
and Patience Reed (1723-1768). John and Patience had seven children: John (b.
bef 1763); Joseph John (b. 5/15/1764); Henry B. 12/4/1761-1838); Frances
(5/25/1759-8/19/1843); Tabitha (12/7/1756-1828); Elizabeth (b. 5/1/1754); and
Rebecca B. John Bradford (1708-1787) married

I am looking for SALLEY BRADFORD born Jan. 13, 1840. Looking for
parents and family, Possibly in Pa. She Married Stephen Martin in
Henry Cty, Mo. in 1861
Family thinks that both were from the Pa. area

According to family tradition, when her father was entertaining Lafayette,
she played piano for him as a child of 14 while Thomas Jefferson's grandson
(Francis Eppes) turned the music. Married her cousin at age eighteen.
