A photograph of Eliza (married name Emerson) that was taken in the late 1800s at a studio in Washington, DC has been found by a member on the Emerson list.

i am looking for anything on this family i am stuch jerry
I just received all my emails for the last 4 months
from the Bradford group, all at once. Strange!
Anyway, I am looking for any Bradford who was in
Schoharie County, NY, in 1812. This family had a
daughter, Betsey Maria, on June 20, 1812, in Blenheim
Twp. She later (1833) married Nelson Wells in Chemung
Co., NY, and they lived in Tioga Co., PA, (hidden
under the name Wills in 1850), went to Joliet, Will
County, IL before 1860, where Nelson died. Betsey
stayed there with children for awhile, but I find she
I've "rescued" an old photograph of Eliza EMERSON daughter of Josephus & Ann
BRADFORD which was taken at the J. J. Faber Studio in Washington, DC. The
photograph was probably taken during the 1890's with Eliza appearing to be
in her 40's at the time. I'm hoping that someone from this family can be
located so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of
family.
If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please
contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
My apologies for the story I sent mistakenly to the list......My Bradford line come down through William Bradford and Mary (Atwood) Holmes, Israel, Joshua, Joseph, Moses, Joseph, Lucinda.
