I'm looking for any info on a female Bradford who married a Barrett ca 1865.
Their "Known" children were Sally Barrett, Mollie Barrett, Lollie Barrett &
DeWitt Allen Barrett. Sally, Dee & Mollie all lived in Gibson Co at one time
or another. Mollie married Franklin Hefley. Sally married Joe B Stallings.
The children were orphaned at a young age & might have been raised by
Bradfords of that county. Sally was said to have collected money from the
estate of Gov Wm Bradford.

Hello out there, Group!
I would like to locate a Bradford researcher who is descended from Edgar
Bradford who would have been about 52 in 1902 and who lived in Summit
township, Jackson co, Michigan. Edgar signed an affidavit dealing
Great-Grandfather's, G.W. Roberts, pension at that time. I suspect
Edgar descended from William Bradford, born 1734, from Haddam CT.or from
William Bradford, born 1776/79. If so, this Edgar would have been a
cousin of G.W.
If such a researcher exists, I would like to co
Thanks for the snippet about Mary Davidson Bradford. It is possible she may have married a descendant of Josiah Bradford of
Canterbury, Connecticut. I've a copy of a letter written to my Great-grandfather, William Josiah Bradford, by an S. S.
Bradford from Hammond, St. Croix county, WI in Feb 1866- this is near Menominee. While the Wisconsin Bradfords would not be
ancestors of mine, they are of interest to me - their descendants are probably 5th cousins.
Interestingly, my grandmother on my mother's side

I am researching John Calvin Bradford. John is my greatgrandfather. Family
tradition suggests that he was born in Trenton, Gibson County, Tennessee, on
September 22, 1860. In spite of this information, two census records, 1900
and 1910, list his state of birth as Kentucky. I conclude that he was born
in either Tennessee or Kentucky.
The first reference that I have for him is in the 1884, Mayfield, Kentucky,
newspaper, called the Mayfield Monitor, on January 25, 1884. He and Mattie
Yarbrough are applyin

I am trying to find my Bradford roots. My mother always claimed lineage from both William Bradford and Robert Cushman of Plymouth Plantation, but she and her siblings are all deceased. Here is all I know for sure:
My name is Robert Cushman Brown, born 5/15/38 to Mary Bradford Cushman Brown, born 10/22/03 to Robert Cushman and Eliza Little Cushman of Pawtucket, RI. I know of no other Bradfords in the family (except for my son Bradford Taylor Brown, born 02/26/61, and my cousin's son Bradford Cushman Peck
Alarm! Alarm! I see I have made a grave omission, which my neglected sister
Susan will no doubt (with great justification!) call to my attention at any
moment! See addition of her family at 3 below.
Sorry, Susie!!

To all the Bradfords and Cushmans:
I have found a genealogy dated June 10, 1936 which my grandfather, Robert Cushman of Pawtucket, RI, authorized by The Institute of American Genealogy, Chicago, for something called "The Compendium of American Genealogy (First Families of America)." I cannot vouch for the authenticity of the Institutes findings, and no sources are provided, except for an appended note which says, "Additional data on the Bradford lineage were taken from the record of Mrs. L.H. Midwest Pioneers: Memoirs of Mary Bradford
Born in the farming community of Paris, Kenosha County, in 1856, Mary
Davison Bradford was forced by her father's ill health to begin teaching at
the age of sixteen--before she had finished high school. She continued to
work actively as an educator until 1922. Bradford describes how she taught
in small rural schools, in the expanding Kenosha system, and at centers of
educational experimentation such as Central
