David Bradford (d.1834) settled in Ohio in 1798, operated a tavern in West Union, Adams Co. OH 1804-1834. Was he really the David Bradford of Washington, PA who escaped troops as a leader of the Whiskey Rebellion? Was his brother William (my ancestor) raised in foster care in Virginia?

Hi Janet. I have yet to find a copy of the book. However, you might try ancestorstuff.com. Just type in Bradford or Revolution in the search box. In either case, they have a large selection of books to choose from.

My system was having some problems with error codes. I'm running a Dell Dimension 4400, XP and so called Dell Tech service. They have now moved to India! After talking for 10 minutes to try to get them to understand my problem and telling them I just wanted to reinstall my XP, the tech said he understood and proceeded to format my hard drive. My quandry is that I lost all my Bradford contacts addresses and needless to say a lot of data. I had made a backup of my genealo

Dear Corinne Butler. I would love to have attended the Butler Reunion
on July 4 in Rockland,. Maine, but it is a long way for me, and I need
more advance notice. My children are coming from NY down to Maryland
over July 4 weekend, so this year it is not possible. Have you had this
gathering before? Is it a regular annual event? Always the same time
of year? Always the same place? How many usually attend (20 - 40 -
400?).
My Butler line is desc. from 1) Nicholas Butler who was living at

Do you have the parents of David Bradford by any chance? I am still searching for the birthplace and where in Ohio my Bradfords lived other than Portage County and Hocking County. Thanks,

I've "rescued" an old photograph of Lillie or Tillie BRADFORD taken at the
Washburn Studio in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her married name is also noted
on the back of the photograph, it looks like LEVENCH or SEVENCH. The
photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's or 1880's with the
subject likely in her 20's at the time.
I'm hoping to locate someone from her family so that this wonderful old
family photograph can be returned to family. If you are a member of this
