Hi listmembers for the Bradford list. Just wanted to let you all know
that Phyllis Arbogast was kind enough to do this for the list. So, I
don't need your help with that any longer. Thank you Phyllis! I will
try to get the info up tomorrow night (I have a paper to write tonight)

Here is a bit of snippets taken from the 'Bloomfield Vindicator' the
newspaper in Bloomfield MO. I am also including some from the families
they married into.
April 4,1885
A. S. Bradford was up from Essex Wednesday. He informed us that he
lost his infant child last Sunday.

J. A. Hambleton and his daughter, Miss Amanda, and W. J. Hux of
Essex, attended the ball here (Dexter) Tuesday eve.

I am quite convinced that the Thomas who was here was a friend of Gen. Sumter and
neighbor and his bro. Robert could not write which means he could be the right family . I
checked the wills on file at the court house. The family was methodist which fits and the
only fly now is how to connect this Thomas to the one in GA. One of the Bradford ladies
here indicated that Hosea is a family name and maybe the Hosea in GA does fit here too.
I beleive the main connection is the fact that Jeremiah Brown and The Si

An interesting article and an indication there may be some
connection between Maj. Ward Bradford and these people as
Maj. Ward had a hotel in MO. and lived there for a time.
Children and wife were left when he took off for CA on the

Hello everyone! I thought of a way to spruce up the homepages for the
lists...old pictures! I found a whole bunch that over Spring Break at
my grandma Bradford's for both Eller and Bradford...well not a WHOLE
bunch, only 4, but that is a lot to me:) and anyways...I am planning to
get those scanned and put them on the homepage. If any of you have
pictures to put on the homepage, I'd be more than happy to add
them...There is one thing though, you need to send them to me through
email since I do not have my

Hello everyone! I just got back from Spring Break last night and I
wanted to share a little with you about what i found....A picture of my
grandfather (Fred Hunter Bradford) with his father (Harry L. Bradford)
in front of Davidson College here in NC taken when Fred was about 20!
By the way, once I get this scanned (which I have to send it off since I
don't have my own scanner), I am going to put it on my homepage below.
I had never seen a picture of Harry before and that was the youngest I
had seen of Fr

that Snow Hill is in Worcester County.

Everyone, this is a forward of a forwarded message I recieved about the
Happy99.exe virus. (I emailed the Bradford list about this earlier
today) and this will be the last message about it. For those of you who
don't know about this virus, it is sent to other people through email
attachments. As long as you don't open the file, it does no harm, but
if you do open it, here are instructions to clean up after it (you may
want to save this for future reference):

Thanks I am convinced, but not proved yet that Thomas , JR. b 1757 was the same
man who owner Bradford Springs and was probably Bro. of Nathaniel Bradford who
ended up with it and sold it later . I beleive that mainly because of the Sumter
Bradfords Nathaniel was the only one who could not read and write, neither could
Thomas Bn 1757 wife mary Hargraves M 1782 in Granville. The father Thomas Sr I
beleive is the one who sold out in NC in 1768 and might have passed through SC ,
but is the one with wife Sarah
Hi Karen,
What book are you talking about? My GrGrandfather died at Andersonville
in July 1864. He was James W Harris and was in the 7th Calvary from West
Tennessee. His Daughter, Mariah Ann, married P F Bradford. I am always
interested in learning more about that awful place.
Thanks for your help!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have links on
my homepages to books at amazon.com and I would appreciate you buying
books through these links. I get a SMALL commission on the purchases
(you don't have to purchase the linked books, but you have to go through
the links in order for the commission) and I am going to donate the
money I earn to rootsweb...there is one catch though...I have to earn at
least $100 in commission before they pay me and so far, I've only earned
$1.77!
