Dear Barbara in Alabama, I have a copy of Nathaniel Bradford Sr.'s will. It was written 2 Oct 1756 & proved in Edgecombe Co., NC, Feb 1757. It mentions wife, Sarah, sons John & Nathaniel Jr., & daughters Mary & Patience. Nathaniel Bradford Sr. was the brother of my ancestor, Col. John Bradford of Halifax Co., NC. I am also desc. from this line. I show that my Joshua Bradford (June 23, 1710 - May 22, 1758) marr. to a Hannah Bradford (Apr 10, 1719 - May 22, 1758). Killed by Indians at Meduncook, Maine. They had Joseph Bradford b. Mar 19 1750/51 and numerous other children. My notes, from my great grandmother, Sarah Butler (1834-1911) who was a grand daughter of Benjamin Butler & Huldah Bradford.
