I have a file of information I have compiled from various sources on some
ancestors and descendants of Richard Bradford of Charles City County, VA.
It begins with some of the earliest settlers of the Jamestown Colony
considered "Ancient Planters" including the savior of the Colony in the
1622 Indian massacre. They arrived when the colony was only two years old
and twelve years before the Mayflower set sail for Plymouth. It traces the
Bradford family to Brunswick Co, Va then to Halifax Co, NC then to
Tenness
I'm trying to find information on either of these two men. Charles D. was
born January 1879 and died in 1951. He married Matilda WIETER from St.
Marys, OH. Siebren married Dora Owens in 1896 in Auglaize County, OH. I
think this is the Sieb Bradford that lived in the city park in Troy, OH.
Supposedly, he lived there so long that he had "squatter's rights." I
have found a number of men named some variation of Siebren but have found
no connection between them. Does anyone have any information on this
br
