The offspring as given in his work are: Richard, Nathaniel, John, Frances, Rebecca and Sarah. So, the question now becomes, were these individuals children with a previous marriage of John's? It w

John Bradford's neighbor on Beaver Pond Creek in Brunswick Co, VA was John Moore who married Tabitha Pace, sister of Rebecca Pace. Their father, Richard Pace's will p

8. [BRADFORD-L] Rebecca Pace [1]
Dear List There is some discussion on the husband of Rebecca Pace at: http://users.aol.com/pacenetwrk/documnts/aycock.htm It is mostly a discussion if Rebecca married John or William Bradford, so there's more mud in the water. They seem to conclude that John is the correct husband. So which John? I have John, son of Richard and Anna Roles, being born about 1704; John, son of Richard and Frances Taylor born about 1662 or 1664; Rebecca Pace was born about 1706. If she married at say, 16, to the son of

Okay, Erin. I just thought if there were enough of us, we could help a poor college student get a computer. But rootsweb it is, and a very deserving recipient. I donate periodically but this time will be in your name. Happy Birthday! Now back to genealogy. Sally
10. Re: [BRADFORD-L] Re:Descendents of John Bradford [1]
I have been working on all of the great imputs that I have had from many of you on the list and researching the question of John Bradford married to Rebecca Pace. What I have concluded is this: On the Pace Net, they have copies of three versions of a letter written by Winifred Aycock Lane. She was the daughter of Rebecca Pace and William Aycock. I believe that it can be safely and correctly concluded that Rebecca Pace did marry our John, B C 1662. They had three children: John, Tabitha, and a Sarah who

NOTE: PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE IN ITS ENTIRITY!!! This week's phrase is "migration pattern" :) What this means is in your line, usually, you will notice a migration pattern of your family (unless they are like my Bradford's and stayed in the same place for many years) such as VA>>KY>IL (my Hackett line) or maybe it was just Mecklenburg Co.>Cabarrus Co., NC. Take a few minutes and post it to the list. FOR NEWBIES: The way the "word of the week" works is I throw out a topic and if someone has a

Ah, there's my problem. My stone wall (who married a Bradford line woman) was Hazard, "born in Boone Co., Indiana" (c. 1850) and "moved to Missouri as a youth." No towns, no townships, and in MO, no county! We know where he spent part of his adulthood and, thanks to a gazette of the town where he did business--photocopy acquired from the Library of Congress, Division of Maps--we now have a picture of him. If you haven't tried this source, do.

20. [BRADFORD-L] new proram for lists...."Story Time" [1]
Hello everyone! I got an idea last night about a new program, similar to word of the week, that I am calling "Story Time"! First off, this is not gonna be weekly right now, more like a monthly thing. What this is, is I will pick a topic and you respond to the list. This is not a sharing of regular genealogy info like "Word of the week" is, however. This month, the "Story Time" topic is "How I got started in genealogy." So what I would like is for people to post how they got interested:). I wil
