I am new to this BRANHAM list. Does anyone have Nimrod BRANHAM married to Margaret MARSHALL, with a daughter Lucy that married John SIMPSON in Albemarle Co. VA 14 May 1828 & dau. Sally? I'm hoping you can tell me if John had a wife previous to Lucy & what John & 1st wife male child was named, John & Lucy didn't have any children, as proven by census records. 2. John Brannin on Culpeper and Fauquier Co's., Virginia [1]
Seek more information on John Brannin of Culpeper Co, VA. He had two daus. that I know of Catharine Brannin wife of Nathaniel Monroe and Esther Brannin wife of James Dobie. Both daus. and spouses moved to Logan Co., Ohio in the early 1830's. Was he the John Branham that m. Sally Boswell in Culpeper Co., VA? He gave consent for both his daus. to marry even though they were over 21 years of age.
