Hi all,
I posted this before the spam attack and I'm not sure if it got out. I have
an extra Branson. His enlistment papers tells me he was born in Labette Co KS
in 1880. His next to kin his my 3rd great grandma Naomi Branson. Naomi would
have been 57 in 1880 so I doubt very much if he is her son. Also in 1887 when
grandpa died his obit said he had four daughters surviving. In the 1900
census, Elmer is back from the Phillipeans and teaching music. He is

NOMAIL/UNSUB:
Summer is almost upon us and many of you will be taking vacation. Please
remember: ROOTSWEB does NOT have a "NOMAIL" function. If you will be
away, you must UNSUB from the list and RESUB when you return. If you
don't, 2 things may happen: 1) You will accumulate a ton of mail and 2)
your ISP may start bouncing mail if you max out and the Rootsweb smartlist
will automatically UNSUB you after 4 bounces. Archives ARE available for
the time you are away. Email me for instructions.

My young cousin, Samantha Brandson, of Lancashire, England is anxious to
trace her Brandson roots.
Her grandfather was Leo Brandson who was born in Winnipeg, Canada on 16 Mar
1906 and it is believed that his father was possibly Harry Brandson, possibly
of Icelandic descent.
Leo had three brothers, Carl, Hugh and Willy and three sisters Olga, Selina
and Annielaurie, and the latter is believed to have married Charles Baysmore.
If there is anybody out there to whom these names seem familiar, plea
As you all know, close to 1,000 surname, regional, ethnic and special
interest lists moved from Maiser to Rootsweb after the crash. Rootsweb was
just beginning to involve themselves with mailing lists but did a
spectacular job of bringing all these lists up. If you are missing one of
your lists or are just interested in what is now available on rootsweb, you
might want to visit:

This list is still under construction but has a lot of good information.
