Hi,
Since the MYERS name has been mentioned can anyone ID an Anna MYERS (born
1770/73-died24 Jul 1860)? She married Jacob BROWAND/BROVONT/BROVANT. They
lived in Medina Co., OH, but I believe both were born in PA. Could this Anna
be a sister to the two previously mentioned MYERS, Christian (1761) and
Michael (1762)? Thanks. Eric Blocher

If you go to the website that they list at the bottom of each of these
messages--they have listings for many of the cemeteries in the different
states--and they get more specific, as to location, within each state.

Thank you for this information, and I am sorry it has taken me so long to
respond. I have always wondered why my people traveled together with those
who were or became "Dunkard". From your explanation, I gather that they
were all Lutheran at one point and likely Germans and that is why I keep
finding them all together in various areas. Would this be a reasonable
explanation? If so, it would be a good thing to know while doing research.
Maybe I should be concentrating on the German Lutheran Church rec
I was told that in either Volume 3 or 4 of the Brethren Encyclopedia there
was a list of the BENNETT surname. If anyone has this set of books could I
please get a look-up?
Thank you,

In response to : "I am a descendant of Peter KEYSER buried in the cemetery
behind the Germantown church."
Tyson,
I am not a descendant of Peter Keyser, but recently read his short biography
in "Some Who Led" by Miller and Royer, 1912. If you are interested in
reading the biography I would be happy to send it in a word file.

Can you give me more information on this Nancy Houser and her family? You say
George Bowman lived in Pennsylvania -do you know where?
I have an Elder Abraham Houser who moved from Jessaimine Co KY to Clermont Co OH
soon after 1800.

No -I served at White Cottage -and knew the Horn family well. They had an
anniversary celebration this year -but I have not been able to do enough
traveling, and didn't go. I don' really know when the Horns became Brethren
-but assume it was before they arrived out here.
by the way -it was Fort Henry, at Wheeling WVa. when they were there.

There is a chance our country may be going to war very soon.
In scripture, the number 3 represents the Holy Trinity.
March 3, 2003. It would be 03-03-03
Wouldn't it be great if all the Christians in the world
or at least in our country would stop what they are doing
and pray on the same day. We could make 03-03-03 God's Day.
