I am l;ooking for the parents and siblings of Peter Brown who was born in Scotland around 1792-94. On the grave stone, in Tenn.,it says that he was about 44 years old, and the date of his death is Aug.1837. The marker also says he was from Ayrshire, but I have found nothing more that seems to fit, as I have searched Ayrshire files. His heirs are listed as John G. Brown, Laura Brown, Malvina D. Brown, Melivna E. Brown , William P. Brown, Charles F. Brown and Elenora, as well as his wife, Sarah Ann Brown(F

Hoping that the above name might just be in some one tree. He is my grandfather on my fathers side and I really know nothing of him. The name came from my fathers birth and marriage certificate. I have always believed him to be of Scottish descent, but since starting genealogy, one can never believe everything you have been told. I am assuming that he was born late 1880/1890's, as my grandmother was born 1893 in Lincolnshire. I can not find a marriage for them, and I am now convinced that they never mar

I'm am trying to confirm a relationship between my Brown ancestor and Dr. David Livingstone. Joseph Brown - born June 12, 1800 in Leicester England, raised in Hamilton Scotland. His son John Brown's obituary states he spent some time living in Dalserf near his cousin Dr. David Livingstone. Looking for Isabelle or Belle BROWN who lived at 24 William Street, Dumbarton in January 1916. We know she had a nephew James BROWN who lived at 7 Thimble Street, Renton. We know my widowed great grandmother Mary (Brown) WAUGH lived with Belle from about 1911 until Mary9s death in 1916 at the age of 76.
