It is true that we need to test the male descendents, which eliminates our
line, or makes it almost impossible. My g-grandfather which is Joseph the
son of Hiram the son of John Quincy. My father was the son of Joseph's

BUT Judy Boye, a member of our list and a descendant of John Q Brown has
given me a wonderful idea for this group. We should do DNA testing. I checked
and there is already a Brown DNA project in progress. If we participated, we
could prove that our Browns are really all related like we think they are.
