3. Re: [BRYSON] I haven't forgotten [1]
Thanks to all the Brysons who have responded to me regarding James H. Queen and Isabella Bryson Queen. Today I made contact with the widow of the last Queen male descendant of James and Isabella. The male line ended with the death of Harry Eugene "Rick" Queen, Jr. in Austin in 1995. You're a great gang. 5. Re: [BRYSON] Daniel Granderson Bryson's House [1]
Gene, As far as I know, none of my ancestors were from the NC Brysons even though I've checked many of the NC names listed in Ron Bryson's book on the Brysons up to abt. 1850. I have traced most of my family back to the Brysons that came in through Charleston, SC abt 1760-75 and then went west on to the Old 96 District of SC, then my branch of the family came to MS in the early 1850's. Sorry I can't be of assistance. Jim Bryson ----- Original Message ----- From: "O Eugene Queen" To:
6. I haven't forgotten [1]
I haven't forgotten about the question I received about the descendants of S.H. Queen and Isabella Bryson. Some things came up, but they're now handled, so I just need to pull the material up and post it. (It's in my car, and I'm not near my car right now.) btw, I've recently acquired a part-time student job in Clemson University's Special Collections. (This is essentially its archives.) I can't believe what I've been missing!!! I started graduate work here at Clemson last August and will begin work on my
7. Descendants of Isabella BRYSON and James Houston Queen [1]
Here is a list of the descendants of Isabella BRYSON and James Houston Queen. I am taking this information from research done by Bessie Snyder (dec.), Mrs. Cary Snyder (dec.), and Mrs. John Carringer(?). I have another two sources, but I don't have them on hand. (I let myself get complacent: I had all this on computer, then the computer went bad at the end of 2003 before I could get everything off the hard disk. Getting everything off will take money I don't currently have.) Isabella BRYSON (7 Mar 1812 -
